Important Hearings and Community Events:

February 3rd:  Planning and Growth Management Work session:  ZTA 19-155 and 19-153 discussion.  No public comments @ Charles County Government Building, 6 PM.

Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) 19-155 will reduce the limit for major subdivisions to be grandfathered into the new conservation area, put in place in 2016.  Now, 3 years later they want to reduce the threshold from 25% built, to 10% to continue to expand a community last worked on around 2009.

ZTA 19-153 will loosen Business Park (BP) zoning restrictions on properties that were excluded from the conservation area next to the airport.  Come watch local government in action.
